CAPTRON External Amplifiers for Capacitive Level Sensors are designed to operate with external probe rods connected via shielded, temperature-resistant Teflon cables. The spatial separation between the probe and the amplifier allows reliable level measurement in applications with medium temperatures up to 180 °C.
The amplifier can be mounted on flat surfaces using the integrated mounting flange, while an optional DIN rail adapter enables easy installation in control cabinets and automation systems.
These systems are suitable for level measurement in open and closed tanks, reservoirs, wells and wastewater systems. Hygienic versions are available for use in food and beverage production, biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing and medical technology.
Combined with CAPTRON's configurable probe portfolio, the external amplifier system provides a versatile solution for liquids, bulk materials, pastes and media containing solids.
