CHT7 Series Capacitive Door Control Switches

The CHT7 Series Capacitive Door Control Switches are designed for adhesive mounting on glass and other smooth surfaces such as aluminum and metal. The capacitive touch technology enables intuitive operation without mechanical pressure, making the switches ideal for frequently used door opening systems and access points.

The switches are intended for one-sided operation from the inside of a vehicle or building. For glass installations, a full-surface privacy panel is available for the outside of the glass, eliminating the need for screen printing and providing a clean, integrated appearance.

The CHT7 series is particularly suitable for high-frequency applications in buses, trains and building technology systems. To improve accessibility, the switches can be equipped with Braille markings, raised pictograms, 16 bright LEDs and optional vibration feedback, making them easier to use for people with limited mobility and children.

The sensor is completely sealed in cast resin, providing IP69K protection against water, oil and environmental influences. With a service life exceeding 100 million operating cycles, the CHT7 series delivers long-term reliability in demanding applications.
