CHT3 Series Capacitive Push Buttons

The CHT3 Series Capacitive Push Buttons have been developed for applications requiring high visibility, accessibility and reliable operation in demanding environments. The series offers various shapes, installation depths and connection options, allowing flexible integration into transportation systems, industrial equipment and building technology applications.

Depending on the application, models are available for flush mounting, front panel installation or installation with a protective collar that helps prevent accidental activation and contamination. Selected versions are designed according to TSI-PRM requirements and support accessibility through Braille markings and raised pictograms.

For clear user feedback, the CHT3 series combines visual signaling through 16 bright LEDs with optional acoustic feedback via an integrated beeper. These features make the sensors particularly suitable for buses, trains, emergency call stations and information terminals.

The sensors are fully sealed in cast resin, providing IP69K protection and resistance against water, oil, impacts and harsh environmental conditions. The robust design ensures a long service life exceeding 100 million operating cycles.
