Clamping Elements offer a compact and economical solution for creating reliable, keyless shaft-hub connections. Based on proven friction-locking technology, they provide wear-free and maintenance-free operation while requiring minimal installation space. By eliminating keyways, they preserve the mechanical strength of the shaft and ensure precise concentricity throughout the service life of the assembly.
Each clamping element consists of an inner and an outer tapered ring. As the assembly is tightened, these rings generate uniform radial clamping forces between the shaft and the hub, creating a secure frictional connection. The RfN 8006 series is available in both solid (non-split) and split versions. Solid designs provide maximum rigidity and torque transmission, while split versions offer lower clamping forces, making them suitable for more delicate or lower-strength hub materials.
