Aluminum Gas Springs

Aluminum gas springs were primarily developed to address this issue: 50% lighter than a standard gas spring, aluminum gas springs share the same characteristics as Bansbach gas springs made of steel or stainless steel.

For instance, a standard gas spring weighs approximately 250 g in size 8/19 mm with a stroke of 150 mm, while an aluminum gas spring weighs 120 g in size 8/20 mm for the same stroke length. These gas springs are available in 8/20 mm diameter, strokes from 10 mm to 300 mm, and forces from 30 N to 500 N.
