The aluminium design results in a high level of mechanical robustness, thereby enabling use in harsh environments.

When combined with I/O modules, up to 1024 I/Os can be controlled. With the appropriate connection modules, it is possible to use series F, HN and 3 valve islands. An additional network allows the connection of valve islands that are located further away.
