The larger “soft contact” types from the SC²300 to SC²650 series rely on ACE’s special piston tubes. As a result they can absorb up to three times more energy than the standard SC190 to SC925 types of a similar size. In addition, a membrane accumulator – also known as an airbag – takes the place of conventional absorber materials. This membrane accumulator serves as a compensation element for the oil displaced in the shock absorber, thereby increasing process reliability even more.
_x000D_These shock absorbers are particularly suitable for applications such as rotary modules and are available in various weight ranges with an integrated positive stop. They are maintenance-free and are supplied ready for immediate use. The side load adapter option allows impact angles of up to 25°.
_x000D_These miniature shock absorbers offer high performance and a long service life and are primarily used for handling and automation tasks where safety and efficiency play an important role.
