Disc brake systems

For over 70 years, Twiflex has offered the world's largest range of brake calipers for disc brake systems. Disc brake shoes are designed as spring-loaded or directly actuated mechanical brakes. Spring brakes can be opened pneumatically, hydraulically or electrically, while most direct actuated pneumatic, electric and hydraulic brakes have a return spring.
Twiflex disc brakes are standard in many industrial applications for speed control, emergency stop and emergency stop functions, and are used in escalators and elevators, as well as in belt conveyor systems and paper machines.
